Privacy Policy

Inner Anchor Academy respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect, why we use it, how it may be handled, and the choices available to you when using our website, founding member list, member platform, and services.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Inner Anchor Academy. It may include information you provide directly, information necessary to operate a membership account, and limited technical information generated when you use our website or member platform.

Information you provide may include your name, email address, membership information, account information, communications, responses you choose to submit, and information you voluntarily share when participating in Academy features or services.

Founding Member and Waitlist Information

If you join the Inner Anchor Academy founding member list or another waitlist, we may collect information such as your first name, last name, email address, eligibility confirmations, signup time, and waitlist or enrollment status.

We use this information to maintain the signup list, preserve signup order where applicable, communicate about enrollment opportunities, and administer the launch or availability of Academy membership.

Member Account Information

If you become a member, we may collect or maintain information necessary to create, authenticate, secure, and administer your account. This may include your name, email address, account identifier, membership status, program access, lesson progress, completion information, and preferences.

Program Participation Information

The member platform may allow you to record progress, complete check-ins, use program tools, submit reflections, participate in community features, or otherwise interact with Academy materials.

Some of this information may be personal in nature. You should share only information that you are comfortable providing through the applicable feature.

Communications

If you contact Inner Anchor Academy, submit a question, request support, participate in coaching, or communicate with us through another available method, we may retain information necessary to respond to your request and maintain appropriate business records.

Payment Information

Payments may be processed through a third-party payment processor. Inner Anchor Academy does not need to directly store your complete payment card number when payment information is securely processed by the payment provider.

We may receive and retain information associated with a transaction, such as payment status, membership status, transaction identifiers, subscription information, billing dates, and limited billing details necessary to administer your membership.

Technical and Usage Information

When you access the website or member platform, our systems or service providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, security events, pages or features accessed, and other information necessary for website operation, security, performance, and troubleshooting.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Inner Anchor Academy and service providers used to operate the website or member platform may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for functions such as account authentication, security, remembering preferences, maintaining sessions, and improving website functionality.

For example, the Academy website may store a theme preference on your device so that your selected visual theme can be remembered when you return.

How We Use Information

We may use information to operate and secure the website and member platform; maintain founding member or waitlist records; create and administer accounts; provide program access; track member progress; process and administer memberships; communicate with members and applicants; provide support; improve Academy services; prevent misuse or fraud; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

How We Share Information

Inner Anchor Academy does not sell your personal information.

Information may be processed or shared with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the Academy. These may include providers that support website hosting, databases, authentication, payment processing, video delivery, email, communications, security, analytics, or other technical functions.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, protect the rights or safety of Inner Anchor Academy or others, investigate fraud or security incidents, or enforce applicable agreements.

Service Providers

Inner Anchor Academy may use third-party technology providers to operate portions of the website and member experience. Depending on the features in use, these providers may process information on our behalf or according to their own applicable privacy terms.

We seek to limit information shared with service providers to what is reasonably necessary for the services they perform.

Community and Live Participation

Information that you voluntarily share with other members in a community area, group discussion, or live session may be visible to the other participants in that space.

Members are expected to respect one another's privacy, but Inner Anchor Academy cannot guarantee that another participant will not copy, repeat, or disclose information that you voluntarily share. Please use discretion when discussing sensitive personal matters.

Live Session Recordings

If an Academy-hosted live session is recorded, participants will be informed that recording is taking place. Recorded material may contain information voluntarily shared during the session.

Members should avoid sharing information they do not want included in a recording and may choose not to participate verbally in a recorded discussion where participation options permit.

Data Security

Inner Anchor Academy uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information and member accounts. However, no website, database, internet transmission, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Members are responsible for protecting their login credentials and should notify Inner Anchor Academy if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.

Data Retention

We may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, administer memberships, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, protect the platform, enforce agreements, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Different types of information may be retained for different periods depending on why the information was collected and whether continued retention is reasonably necessary.

Your Choices and Requests

You may contact Inner Anchor Academy to ask questions about personal information associated with you or to request correction or deletion of information where appropriate and subject to applicable law, legitimate business needs, security requirements, and recordkeeping obligations.

Members may also be provided with account controls for certain information, preferences, or communications as those features become available.

Email Communications

We may send emails necessary to administer a waitlist, application, membership, transaction, account, security matter, or service you have requested.

If Inner Anchor Academy sends optional promotional or marketing communications, recipients will be provided with an appropriate way to opt out of those communications. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transactional, account, security, or service communications.

Children's Privacy

Inner Anchor Academy membership is intended for adults age 18 and older and is not offered to minors. We do not knowingly seek to enroll children in the Academy.

If we learn that personal information has been submitted by a minor in connection with membership eligibility, we may take reasonable steps to remove the information where appropriate.

The Academy may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Inner Anchor Academy is not responsible for the privacy practices of independently operated third-party services.
